Audio Technica SJ5 Review

Audio Technica's SJ5 budget headphones are a great pair of cans aspiring DJ's, musicians and people who want to experience the richness and depth of bass that only headphones can offer.
I bought these cans on Amazon Japan for 3347 yen which is about S$50. A huge bargain when you compare it to the prices in Singapore.
It is sturdily built and is very compact as it is foldable and no one would be embarrased to wear these headphones on the MRT or bus.

Pros of the SJ5
  • Price is very reasonable for what you get
  • Good, Decent bass enough for the average joe
  • Sturdily built
  • Compact
  • Stylish chrome lining
Cons of the SJ5
  • The ear muffs do not fit together (perfectly, they do fit together but the head band goes in an awkward position) which makes it slightly less portable

  • Doesn't cancel out outside noise well
  • Doesn't come with a carrying case.

Conclusion

Overall these pairs of cans are perfect for an average users who doesn't need top notch sound but rather something that can play audio very well, portable, stable, affordable and stylish.
